This is a pair of low three-legged stools, designed by Uno & Osten Kristiansson for Luxus of Sweden in the 1950s. The listed price includes the pair of stools as shown. Their design includes a round upholstered seat in black vinyl or leather, while the base is composed of angular teak frames.
Each stool measures 21 inches in diameter, and is approximately 14.5 inches high. The pieces retain their original black upholstery that has a nice patina, and the frames show some light wear. Overall, these stools are in very good vintage condition. They came from the estate of a Cornell University professor in Ithaca, New York. Please see photos.
